From Fear to Action
Most people wait to feel ready. That's the mistake.
Readiness is a feeling that shows up after you move, not before. Here's how to move anyway.
Training for American Ninja Warrior taught Sam something he now teaches everywhere: you don't feel ready and then act — you act, and the readiness shows up on the way. Most people get that backwards, and it costs them years.
This keynote is part performance, part pep talk, part honest reckoning. Sam uses stories from the course, the classroom, and the stage to show audiences how to convert fear into a starting signal instead of a stop sign.
It's a natural fit to open a season, launch an initiative, or send a graduating class into whatever's next.
What the room walks away with
- Why "waiting to feel ready" keeps good people stuck
- The smallest honest action that breaks the freeze
- Borrowing discipline from training when motivation is gone
- A mindset for doing hard things when your brain says don't
